The main function of the asset-backed securities program is to reduce external liquidity requirements.

A borrowers' note with a total volume of €300 million was issued in year 2015.

A borrowers' note with a total volume of €250 million was issued in year 2020.

One of the first instruments with which CLAAS became active on international capital markets was a syndicated credit facility (syndicated loan) in 1997.

At the end of 2002, CLAAS became the first German company to issue 200 million USD of bonds on the US market as part of a private placement.
