Industrial Business Administration (Bachelor of Arts)
Are you somebody who doesn't just want to learn theory in a lecture theatre but instead wants to put your skills directly into practice? If this is the case, the Industrial Business Administration study programme at CLAAS with integrated practical components is just what you're looking for! We are excited about your keen interest in business processes and your desire to get to know the world with CLAAS.
During your study programme, you will work on demanding business-related tasks. You will gain an insight into all of the main areas of business such as purchasing, logistics, marketing/sales, human resources, accounting and controlling.
During your practical phases, you will be involved in exciting projects, such as producing offers, accompanying price negotiations and learning, for example, how monthly and annual financial statements are prepared and produced - all depending on your area of deployment.
As a business administrator, you might have the task of setting the criteria which are used in the purchasing department to compare suppliers to each other and select the right one. You might also be responsible for purchase negotiations or for successfully running wide-ranging procurement and investment projects.
"A full-time study was not an option for me, because I wanted to gain practical experiences right from the beginning. I also think it's great that CLAAS gives me the opportunity to spend a practical phase abroad. So the dual study programme at CLAAS was the perfect choice."
(Hannah, dual student of Industrial business administration)
CLAAS also promotes your development with language courses, workshops, product training courses and deployments in international subsidiaries of the CLAAS Group lasting several weeks.
The theoretical part of the study programme takes place at the Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg in Stuttgart, with which we have had a partnership for over 30 years.
If you complete the dual study programme at our Bad Saulgau site, the theory phases are held at the Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg at the Ravensburg/Friedrichshafen campus.
Do you have any questions about the training programme or would you like to apply directly? Your contacts will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
