IT Specialist for System Integration
A life without a computer or telephone? Can you imagine that? No, we can’t either! For this reason, we are looking for IT specialists who are familiar with computers and computer-based problems.
As an IT specialist you have the important task to ensure that the computers of our employees run smoothly and to find a quick solution in case of a problem. Thus, you are part of one of the most important teams in the company – because without working computers or telephones, efficient work of our employees is simply impossible.
As an IT specialist in the area of system integration at CLAAS, you will be responsible for implementing sector-specific requirements in hardware and software systems, as well as for the support of complex telecommunication and information systems.

The first functional and programme-controlled computer became available in 1941. The computer weighed about 1 ton and was as big as a living room cabinet.
You will advise, supervise and train our employees in the use of diverse systems – not only in Germany, but all over the world. Problem reports from the international locations will be processed by you and you will carry out specialist research – also in English language specialist literature. Therefore, a good knowledge of English is definetely an advantage.
During your apprenticeship, you will be trained mainly in the area of "IS-Support and Operations". In addition, special knowledge for Operating (e.g. central monitoring of servers) and First Level Support (e.g. telephone training or support training for Microsoft products) will be mediated in addition to the specifically defined training content for apprentices. These include, amongst other things, training in downstream IT departments, which deal with topics such as networks and telephony, email, servers and storage or E-business (Sharepoint, web portals).

Training programme details Training duration: 3 years Minimum requirements: A good to very good pass in the vocational extension certificate.
Primary job tasks: IT specialists at CLAAS are available as contact partners for all system users. They find solutions to problems and monitor the system function of the entire CLAAS Group.
Structure: You will also be acquainted with the departments for applied development (SAP and eBusiness). The main part of the training course will take place in the department Support & Operations.
